Payment Policy

Effective Date: 29th July, 2018

This Payment Policy (“Policy”) governs the payment terms and procedures for travel services and packages offered by Adventourist. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined herein.

1. Payment Terms

• All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a minimum advance payment of 50% of the total trip cost.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 15 (fifteen) days prior to the departure date.
• For bookings made within 15 days of travel, 100% advance payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Failure to adhere to the payment schedule may result in automatic cancellation of services without notice and without entitlement to refund.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

Payments can be made through any of the following methods:

• UPI/Net Banking
• Credit/Debit Cards
• Bank Transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS)
• Payment Gateway Links (shared by Adventourist team)

Cash payments are accepted only for amounts within the limits prescribed under applicable laws.

3. Invoice and Taxation

• All payments are subject to applicable GST as per Government of India regulations.
• A proper tax invoice shall be issued post confirmation of payment.

4. Late or Failed Payments

• Any delay in final payment may result in service cancellations or additional late fees.
• If a cheque or online transaction fails or is reversed, the client will be notified and expected to clear dues within 48 hours, failing which the booking stands cancelled.

5. Disputes and Chargebacks

• If you believe an error has occurred in billing or payment processing, you must notify us within 7 days of the transaction.
• Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may be treated as fraudulent.
• We reserve the right to contest any disputes with supporting documentation.

6. Non-Transferability

• Payments made for a specific trip or client are non-transferable unless explicitly authorized in writing by Adventourist.
• Any request for change in passenger details after payment may incur administrative fees or penalties.
